Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 126: Phils take opener against Washington (59-67)

The Phillies defeated Washington on Friday night, 4-2, despite the fact that Kevin Frandsen was batting 3 slots ahead of Domonic Brown. Kyle Kendrick allowed only two runs through 6 2/3 innings, and Charlie Manuel did a good job of using four relievers to get through the 8th inning unscathed. Other than giving Frandsen a more important lineup spot than Brown, no complaints on the night for Manuel.
