Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 110: Coal Hammels makes in-game moves disappear (50-60)

Manuel again stacked 3 LHBs, this time against LHP Mike Minor.  The Braves also have several strong LHP in the bullpen, so this move is doubly crazy.  Mayberry batted 5th, Kratz 6th, and Frandsen 8th.  Just crazy, crazy strategy in my opinion.  At least Dom Brown is playing regularly.  Hamels walked 0, and allowed 5 hits in his first CG SO since 2010, which seems absurd to me.  Looks like he IS trying despite signing a huge contract.  What a guy.
