Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 158: Phils lose 8th in a row (98-60)

The Phillies dropped the night game on Saturday by a score of 6-3, mainly because their starting pitcher wasn’t a starting pitcher. Joe Blanton was really good, but he only picthed 2 innings. The bullpen blew the game, and the Phils couldn’t really manage much offense with their sub-par lineup.

No complaints in this game – the complaints for Saturday are seen below. Had the Phils swapped lineups and basically conceded the RA Dickey game, they probably would have split the two games on Saturday.
