Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 131: Halladay dominates (85-46)

The Phils demolished Bronson Arroyo and the Cincinnati Reds last night by a score of 9-0. Halladay pitched 7 innings, throwing over 100 pitches. He started the 7th inning with fewer than 80 pitches, so I won't blame Manuel for allowing him to pitch the 7th. It's definitely a good sign that Manuel removed Halladay after 7 innings in the midst of the shutout.

For the 131st straight game, the Phils' lineup was not optimized, so it's hardly worth mentioning.

Easy game for Manuel as the Phils are setting up another series victory.
