Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 116: Cliff Lee and Cliff Lee beat the Dodgers (76-40)

Tonight, Cliff Lee pitched 8 scoreless innings and hit a home run. The Phillies beat the Dodgers 2-1, with the only run coming off Ryan Madson in the 9th inning.

Manuel's lineup wasn't perfect (Utley and Howard are still batting back-to-back with no end in sight). He only made one substitution the entire night -- Madson for Lee -- so there's no point in discussing Manuel.

The Phillies need four more wins in a row to get to a .6667 winning percentage. Step one is tomorrow afternoon as Vance Worley goes for the sweep against Chad Billinsgley at 3:10 pm.
