Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 109: Kendrick throws best game of career (70-39)

Kyle Kendrick made this game-post easy for me today. He threw over 115 pitches in 8 scoreless innings last night in the 5-0 victory. The only reason why Kendrick didn't go the whole game was because of his pitch count (~ 120). David Herndon pitched the 9th inning to shut down the game.

Since the bullpen threw 4 innings on Monday night, Kendrick's performance allowed Manuel to rest the relevant relief pitchers (sorry, Herndon).

No complaints for the manager in this one.
