Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 100: Phils win 7th straight vs. Padres (64-36)

Tim Stauffer was uncharacteristically wild today. He walked 4 batters, including the pitcher, which helped the Phillies pull off the win today. Roy Halladay really settled in after some early struggles. I think it was fair to say that the strike zone was fairly inconsistent for both pitchers today, and this led to some of their struggles. Halladay did find a way to rebound, going 8 innings on the way to the Phillies series-clinching victory this afternoon.

Nothing really substantial to note about today's game. The Phillies aim to sweep the Padres tomorrow as Cliff Lee takes the mound against Aaron Harang.
