Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 6: Phillies score double digits for second time this year (5-1)

Thursday afternoon the Phils demolished the Mets in a businessman special, winning 11-0. It was one of the games where you wish the Phils would save their offense for someone besides Roy Halladay (but then you realize they're embarrassing the Mets, so it doesn't matter), who shut down the Mets over 7 innings. He allowed the leadoff man to get on base each time in the first four innings, but the Mets were only 2 for 15 with runners on base vs. Halladay.

Baez and Herndon pitched the 8th and 9th innings, and Manuel had his easiest day of the year so far.

The Phils have won 2 straight series to start the year.
