Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 12: Ho-hum; another complete game (9-3)

Not much to mention about last night's game. Good, considering my focus was primarily on the Flyers, sadly. Carlos Ruiz is posting a meager .983 OPS (yes, small sample size), and batting 7th. The highest OPS on the team is batting 7th. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

Regardless, Cliff Lee was pretty spectacular striking out 12, while walking 1 and giving up 3 hits. Lee saw just 3 batters in 6 of his 9 innings last night. Sounds like a recipe for success to me.

The Phillies have won each of their first 4 series, and tonight Roy Oswalt will go up against RHP Javier Vazquez.
