Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

NLCS Game 6: There is death (2-4)

The Phillies lost. It was brutal.

The manager made a series mistakes before the game even started. Utley and Howard batted back to back, Jimmy Rollins batted leadoff, Carlos Ruiz batted 8th, and Raul Ibanez started in LF.

Jimmy Rollins swung at the first pitch of the game. Chase Utley tossed the ball at Sanchez that set him off and might have very well given Bochy the reason to pull Sanchez. As far as I'm concerned, that was a huge turning point in the game. I love our chances to beat Sanchez. Beating the Giants bullpen is another story.

Luck played a huge part in this series, and again reared its head last night. Ryan Madson does not give up home runs to Juan Uribes. Especially to the opposite field. Carlos Ruiz smoked a line drive right at Aubrey Huff. Shane Victorino was subsequently doubled off of second.

Sigh.

I hope my last memory of Werth isn't that he was on deck with the chance to possibly tie the game.

Let's go Flyers.
