Nothing really to comment on about Friday's game. Manuel correctly went to Mason in the 8th, but it just didn't work out. Aramis Ramirez untied the game with a bomb to left-center field.
Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 89: Phils lose late (47-42)
Joe Blanton had a pretty good day considering how his outings have been going this year. The batters? Same as usual (lately anyway). He faced the minimum amount of batters through the first 4 innings. He struck out 8 on the day, and hopefully it's a sign of good things to come.
