Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 101: Halladay, Brown, Ruiz win game for Phils (55-46)

The Phillies won a complete game from Roy Halladay tonight, 7-1. Carlos Ruiz, the best seventh hitter in the league, was 3 for 4 and Domonic Brown was 2 for 3. There's really no such thing as an easy win, but tonight was close.

I won't detail Charlie Manuel's problems with his lineup tonight (see below), but he didn't make any mistakes otherwise.

Tomorrow night at 7:05 pm the Phils go for the sweep. Kyle Kendrick faces LHP Joe Saunders.
