Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 73: Moyer continues to dazzle (40-33)

Jamie Moyer pitched another good game on Sunday allowing just 6 base runners in 7 innings. Despite the fact that the starting lineup contained Wilson Valdez and Dane Sardinha, the Phillies managed to put up an 11-spot due in large part to the atrocious Blue Jays defense.

Charlie Manuel correctly started Francisco in LF while DHing Ibanez. He also used Utley in the 2nd hole and Werth in the 3rd. I like that move.
