Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 65: Phils fly out of gates in opener vs. Twins (35-30)

I would like to preface this post by apologizing to anyone who might still be reading this blog. I have recently made a move to a new address, and the internet still has yet to be set up.

The Phils knocked Nick Blackburn out of the game after 1.2 IP. Chase Utley and Ryan Howard combined for back-to-back homers. Blanton had his best start of the season 6 IP and 3 ER (although I think he pitched better than that line indicates).
