Game 64: Phils win series over Yankees (34-30)
Last night, Kyle Kendrick shut down the New York Yankees, pitching 7 innings in the Phils' 7-1 victory. Jose Contreras pitched the 8th inning while JC Romero pitched a scoreless 9th. No complaints for the manager: he even batted Ruiz ahead of Wilson Valdez, and he broke up the two lefties with Placido Polanco in the 3-hole. Nicely done.
