Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 58: Halladay let down again by Phils' bats (31-27)

Both Roy Halladay and Josh Johnson pitched great games last night, but it was the Marlins offense that eked out a lone run against Halladay in the first.

Not much to say about the manager when your starter gives up 1 run in 8 innings, and your team loses 2-0. Danys Baez probably shouldn't have been used in the 9th down 1, but he was, and the Phillies failed to score anyway.
