Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Flyers win in OT!

If Dan Carcillo remains in the lineup for game 4, it is absolutely imperative that either Jeff Carter or Simon Gagne play on the Giroux line. Giroux's abilities to create room and see the ice are completely wasted with two mediocre players (Carcillo and Asham) on his line. Giroux could create so much space for Carter that it's not even funny. Furthermore, Richards has already voiced how he likes playing with Carcillo on his line. There is no sense in stacking a line and depleting another. I think that having 3 lines with at least two skilled players (Richards/Gagne, Briere/Leino, and Giroux/Carter) is pretty difficult to match up against.
