Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 36: Two lefties secure sweep for Phils over Brew Crew (23-13)

Cole Hamels had a pretty good outting on Sunday night allowing 2 ER over 6.2 IP. He slipped up in the 6th inning when he allowed 2 solo homers, the only blemishes on his line for the evening.

All starters excluding Chase Utley had hits in the evening, and the team combined for 5 doubles on the night.

I was a little frightened and confused when I saw J.C. Romero called in to close out the game in the 9th in a 2 run game. Romero is an erratic lefty, and the Brewers really feast on LHP. However, Ken Macha allowed Romero to face two lefties (Gerut and Counsell), which is a huge mistake. Romero was able to record the save in a 1-2-3 inning.

I apologize for the slow postings by Mr. Musser and me lately. We've been slightly busy with wrapping up our college careers. The posts should be more timely henceforth. Don't quote me on that though.
