Game 5: Phils offense does it again (4-1)

The Phils came back last night to beat the Astros, 9-6, thanks to a 2-run homer by Ryan Howard to give the Phils a one-run lead in the 7th inning. Shane Victorino added on insurance runs later with a two-run homer in the 9th. Jamie Moyer was shaky in 6 innings while allowing 5 runs on 9 hits. All 5 runs were in the third inning, in which he got the first two batters out.

The Phils bullpen allowed only one run over 3 innings, with Chad Durbin and Danys Baez throwing scoreless innings. Ryan Madson allowed the run in the ninth inning when the game was essentially out of reach.

The Phillies now have 41 runs through five games.

They go for the sweep this afternoon at 2:05 pm as RHP Roy Halladay faces RHP Roy Oswalt.
