Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 3: Kendrick bad in loss (2-1)

Kyle Kendrick allowed 5 runs in only 4 innings in his first start of the season, and the Phils' comeback was not enough in the 6-5 loss. Jayson Werth had 3 doubles, and the bullpen allowed only 1 run over 4 innings. Nelson Figueroa earned the loss with 1 run in 2 innings of work.

There was nothing from yesterday's loss that Manuel is responsible for; I suppose he wanted to use Figueroa instead of Durbin because Durbin had pitched 2 innings yesterday.

Tonight the Phillies travel to houston for a 8:05 pm start time as LHP J.A. Happ faces RHP Bud Norris. Go Flyers.
