Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 152: Phils rout Suppan (89-63)

The Phillies dominated Jeff Suppan last night on their way to a 9-4 victory. Both pitchers were facing uphill battles as Suppan is sub-par vs. LHB and the Brewers lineup tends to be very strong vs. LHP. No complaints for the manager last night. Francisco start in LF in place of Ibanez who is sick.

After the game was out of hand, Manuel used Durbin, Walker, and Condrey to close it down. Happ looked pretty good in his first "full" start since his injury. He struck out 7 while allowing 8 runners through 5.2 IP.

Tonight Cliff Lee takes on Manny Parra. Despite Cliff Lee being a stellar pitcher, he could run into some trouble vs the likes of Mike Cameron, Casey McGehee, Cory Hart, and Ryan Braun (he is far superior than Jayson Werth vs. LHP: 1.149 vs .963 OPS).
