Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

American league wins AS game

After the two best starters in MLB, Lincecum and Halladay, gave up 2 and 3 runs respectively in the first 2 innings, the scoring pretty much came to a halt. Carl Crawford robbed Brad Hawpe of a homer.

Howard came up in the 8th, and struck out on a pitch in the dirt.

No complaints tonight (haha) although I was curious why Manuel was using relievers before starters. It doesn't really matter, just seemed weird to me.

All the Phillies got in, Vic and Werth were the only two NL CFs used in the game. Utley played 5.5 innings. Ibanez played 4.

Woo. All-Star game. Yea.
