Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Phillies skip Moyer

With the Phillies set to begin a series with the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday, Cole Hamels will make the series opening start. The rotation should have provided Jamie Moyer to start tomorrow; however, due to the day off and Moyer's poor pitching recently, Cole Hamels will make the start on usual rest. This is obviously a good move for the Phillies, and doubly a good move for me. Cole Hamels provides the team with a better chance to win tomorrow and on Sunday in New York. I will be in attendance upon making the trek up to the New Yankee Stadium.

100 points for the Phillies who have taken advantage of an off-day, and have allowed me to see Cole Hamels pitch for the 2nd time this season. I am 4-0 in games I have attended. Hopefully I extend my winning streak to 5 games on Sunday.
