Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 38: Phils lose despite better outting from Moyer (21-17)

Charlie didn't heed my advice from yesterday, and kept the three lefties in a row. Wasn't necessarily taken advantage of tonight by the Reds, but it is still cause for concern. Feliz was 0 for 3 vs the righty Harang. Who know if Greg Dobbs could have helped the team out had he started. His career numbers suggest he would do better than Feliz, but who cares about numbers?? I mean people play the game not numbers right?

Moyer looked better tonight and earned a "quality start". Good decision by Manuel to go to Durbin in the 7th, but things can't go right all the time. No huge complaints tonight, just the usual.

The final game of this series is tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully the Phils can take the series.
