Here we go already. You readers will probably think that Musser and I are nuts, but this game counts as much as the final game of the season.
Manuel starts out the season with the 3, 4, and 5 holes filled with Utley, Howard, and Ibanez (all lefties). Why not flip Utley and Werth? Look for a lefty reliever late in the game to come in to face 3 straight lefties.
Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Good call...Gonzalez, although he got a little shaken up in the 9th, took full advantage of the lefty on lefty matchup.
Good call, Graham, I didn't read this until after the 9th inning.
