Villanova, due to their earning of a 3-seed, will play American University at the Wachovia Center in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Thursday. Temple, A-10 champs, will play Arizona St. on Friday in Miami.
Mr. Graham is a Villanova fan. However -- as much as I enjoy Jay Wright and his all-around beauty -- I've been a Temple fan since birth. As a result, The Manuel will feature more college basketball than usual in the coming weeks.
If Temple wins their first-round game against 6-seed ASU, they will face the winner of 3-seed Syracuse vs. 14-seed Stone Cold Steve Austin. Both ASU and Syracuse play a zone defense. Coach Dunphy and his mustache should give the green light to Dionte Christmas' jumper. If Christmas plays like he did in the A-10 final, considering Jim Boeheim's history of underacheiving and disappointment, do not be shocked if Temple makes some noise this year.
The NCAA Tournament falls at a perfect time: while we wait for the Phillies season, we will have thousands of basketball games to watch. I will post my Final Four picks in the coming days, and I'm sure Mr. Graham will do so as well.
Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Thanks for making me the enemy. I'm not pure evil. I will be rooting for Temple as well. Anyway, Jay IS beautiful, and I love that Jimmy Rollins commercial (it was just on).
AP reports have surfaced indicating that after watching his Dick's Sporting Goods commercial, Paramount pictures have made a call to Jimmy Rollins' agent offering the the MVP and World Series Champion the lead role in a 2012 remake of "Shaft."
