Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

I'm no doctor but...

... As far as the Phillies are telling the public, there have been no setbacks in Chase Utley's rehab. To address the comment from the post on Saturday, based on the initial predicted recovery time, Utley's work ethic, and everything going as planned, Utley should be back for Opening Day. If this is not enough to convince you, Ruben Amaro Jr. announced today that while Utley is not ready to take part in Wednesday's action like some of his battered teammates, "Over the next few days, if things go well, hopefully we'll get him into some games." Everyday brings us closer to Opening Day, a day that appears to show that Mr. Musser and I are right to be curious about others worrying about Utley's return to the Phillies. Again, if he misses the first few games, I won't hesitate to chalk it up as a victory.

Vegas was awesome. I'm sure over the next few days there will be a lull in the Philadelphia sports news, so you will most likely hear about it. To keep it short, visit Vegas at some point in your life, and don't be scared to bring your children there as it is an extremely family-friendly place. Family-friendly in a way that every four feet there are people trying to give you cards with numbers that guarantee women to you in 20 minutes. Maybe they'd read stories to your children. Who knows?
