Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

More on Frod

The save statistic is grossly overrated. I will expand on why in a future post which will serve to entirely undermine the Frod 2008 season. However, I am posting now to tell you why he will fit in with the Mets, personality-wise.

I think it's funny that people think Omar Minaya purposely signs Latino players over more suitable non-Latino players just because they are Latino. I sincerely doubt that is even a remote possibility, but I don't understand the human subconscious enough to entirely discount that theory.

However, there is no doubt that said Latino players are raised in a culture that encourages emotion - see Ugueth U. Urbina's current lifestyle. Jose Reyes hits a home run in the 6th inning in a July game and decides to keep his hand in the air all the way from first to third. Carlos Delgado pumps his fist any time he records a put out at first base (two sexual references in five words). David Wright has huge eyes. Carlos Beltran has a premeditated dance routine with his shortstop. Fernando Tatis dances from third to home after Big Flies. Frod? The man goes batshit crazy whenever he records a save or finishes a game - even our own resident maniac J.C. Romero knew to keep it in check when he finished Game 4 of the World Series.

Enjoy New York, Frod. You'll be another over-emotional, overpaid, overworked asshole who throws hard.
