Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

World Series Game 4: Let's all keep our pants on (3-1)

...for now. Yes, Hamels goes tomorrow, but that means a loss is even more damaging.

As for tonight, I would have started Greg Dobbs instead of Pedro Feliz (and I would have been correct), but when you score 10 runs any lineup gaffes are obviously overshadowed. Bruntlett came in too early again - the Rays were within 3 at the time of the replacement.

My biggest question for Charlie tonight would be his use of J.C. Romero in the 9th inning. Romero pitched 1 1/3 innings last night, and threw the entire 9th inning tonight in a 10-2 game. He is the Phils' best lefty, and if he is needed tomorrow in a clutch spot, it will be his 3rd appearance in 3 days. Also, if the series goes 7 games, he could potentially pitch 5 times in 6 days. That's asking alot of anyone 8 months deep into the season. Why is Clay Condrey on this team if you're going to use your best lefty to shut down a 10-2 game?

18 hours, 40 minutes until game time. This is it. There's no turning back.
