Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

NLCS Game 1: The Legend of The Bat continues (1-0)

Pat Burrell, what can I say? Happy birthday indeed.

As for Manuel, he should have started Dobbs. But he didn't, so instead of So Taguchi trying to bunt in his first plate appearance in a couple months, I think Dobbs would have been the best option in the 7th inning to pinch hit with a man on first. Even Tim McCarver knew a sac bunt was the wrong move. Whatever, I'm too happy.
