Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 162: Out for a Sunday Stroll (92-70)

The Phils "hopped in the Cadillac" (Sarge) Sunday and went out for a joyride. I attended the majority of the game, and couldn't have cared less about what Manuel was doing. He got Werth and Howard into the game, both recording singles, and later scoring. There really isn't anything to say. I missed the last few innings, but as far as I know, Lidge wasn't used unnecessarily, Romero didn't face any right handed hitters, and Burrell was given the day off.
