Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 150: Myers straps it on (83-67)

Turns out, Phils didn't need Brad Lidge in the night-cap. Myers bails out Manuel with a complete game.

I probably would not have sent Myers out for the 9th inning, but he only had 88 pitches and you need him to go deep in the next couple starts, so he might as well get used to it. But, he was on three days rest and has had health problems in the past.

Anyway, at least he didn't use Lidge in the 9th. You never know anymore.

Special thanks to manager Ned Yost for handing us this series in dramatic fashion by refusing to use C.C. Sabathia on 3 days rest.

Enjoy the off-day, and GO BIRDS.
