Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Pedro Feliz should do really well today. Probably not.

These Fox announcers are beginning to compete with Morgan/ Miller for the worst analysts. Ever. When Feliz came up to the plate for his first at-bat today, they made a comment that "Pedro Feliz has really had Ted Lilly's number. He has 2 home runs and 7 RBIs against him." Not only is this horrible commentary (he could have had 400 ABs and only 2 HRs wouldn't be that good). As it stands, Feliz has had 10 PAs vs. Lilly in his career before today's game. This is an infintesimal sample size, and he only has 4 hits in this time span. 4/10 is hardly having his number, and regardless, 10 PAs is nowhere near a big enough number to have any predictable value for future PAs. Had Feliz been 10/10 with 10 HRs, they might have been onto something.
