Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 125: Disaster avoided (67-58)

And by disaster, I mean a loss to the Nationals. Charlie Manuel didn't make any big mistakes tonight. If he did, Mr. Graham and I didn't see any. I personally enjoyed Chad Durbin pitching two innings. Manuel has tended to use Clay Condrey in the 6th for no particular reason, so it was nice to see Durbin in there for two full innings. Savor this game: there are very few one-run games where we have no complaints about Charlie.
