Charlie Manuel frequently makes poor strategic decisions. The 11-million dollar scoreboard in left field would probably do a similar job. We guarantee a post analyzing Manuel's decisions for every Phillies game. Please click on our aliases below to email us.

Game 100: Manuel ejected, Wagner wimps out, Phils score 6 in 9th (54-46)

I'm not sure what happened, but the Phils won. Great job by Jimy Williams (I guess) to pinch hit Greg Dobbs for Pedro Feliz in the 9th. Dobbs kept the rally going.

Also, fantastic job by third base coach Steve Smith to hold Carloz Ruiz at third on the big double by So Taguchi. Though seemingly obvious, Endy Chavez was thrown out at home twice tonight in similar situations. Both times with zero outs. Incredible.

Phils win, once again, by being the smarter team. But when you play the Mets, that's not saying much.

No criticisms today - not after that comeback. I just wonder if Manuel would have pinch hit Dobbs for Feliz had he not been ejected.
